The Department for Education has today launched a new weekly 'pulse' survey to gain a better understanding of the current impact of Covid-19 on both workforce and child absences in early years settings.
The survey is completely anonymous and should take around 5 minutes to answer. It will be run once a week throughout January and February.
The DfE has said that it recognises that given the huge pressures that settings are under at the moment, many providers may not be able to regularly respond to the weekly surveys. However, it is asking providers to respond as and when they can, even if they cannot respond every week, so that the government can gain as much information on the current challenges facing the sector as possible.
The first Covid absence pulse survey is available via the button and will be collecting responses until 23.59 on Wednesday 12 January.
