Early Years: Benchmarking request from Harmony Nursery

Dear Daycare Provider colleagues,

At a recent management committee meeting of our day nursery we discussed two crucial issues that we feel may be relevant to all local providers.  The issues discussed were:

• Fees for services especially in light of the increase in the London Living Wage, utilities and food, and the affordability of increased fees for families already under similar pressures themselves.
• The challenges of recruiting and retaining good staff.

We feel it might be useful for all providers to undertake a brief benchmarking exercise which could be anonymously complied based on the area of the borough where you are located (first part of postcode e.g. SW17).
