Anna Freud, the National centre for children and families have released new resources and webinars. This includes:

“Neurodiversity offers us an opportunity to expand our thinking about development and to embrace the fact that we are all different, and in different ways. Once we begin to do this, only then can we change the landscape of inclusion in early years”

Forming part of the Government’s Early Years Recovery package to improve outcomes for those most affected by the pandemic, the training is free-to-access and available to up to 10,000 eligible practitioners and childminders across England. Registration for cohort 2 is now open for September 2023.

Bite-sized, accessible training on topics of key importance is provided to professionals working with children aged 0-5. 

The panel on our last Early Years in Mind webinar reflected on what the cost of living crisis means for children in the early years, their families and early years providers.
