Bullying and protected characteristics
Session 1: An overview of protected characteristics and common bullying themes that schools are faced with.
Session 2: Case studies will be explored related to The Equality Act and examples of successful strategies used to combat bullying. Allyship as a key strategy will be considered.
Session 3: Staff interactions including unconscious bias will be considered as the potential for minimisation is explored. Strategies for increasing staff awareness (including self-awareness) will be outlined and discussed.
