SCERTS Training 7th and 8th September 2026
September 7, 2026 - September 8, 2026
8:45 am - 5:00 pm
Hammersmith and Fulham Learning Partnership are excited to offer SCERTS Model (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Supports) in-person training. Please note this is a 2-part session and therefore delegates must be able to attend on both dates.
The SCERTS Framework provides a robust, evidence based and multi-disciplinary approach to assessment and planning for Autistic Children and Young People (YP) and others with SEND.
SCERTS is an educational approach designed to identify and develop skills in areas of difference in individuals with a diagnosis of Autism or those that present with Social communication needs.
The SCERTS focus on transactional support allows us to learn to adapt our approach and the environment to foster positive relationships and honour the uniqueness of Autistic individuals.
The SCERTS assessment process ensures that:
• functional, meaningful and developmentally appropriate goals and objectives are selected
• individual differences in a child’s style of learning, interests, and motivations are respected
SCERTS 2-day training course is for Headteachers, Special School staff, SENCos, Specialist teachers, Inclusion Leads and other professionals working with Autistic Young People or those presenting with social communication needs.
