H&F Schools HR are delighted to confirm that our popular annual Employment Law Conference, which was due to take place in February, will now go ahead via Zoom on 27 April 2022. Delivered by barristers Simon Harding and Fergus McCombie from “The 36 Group”, a leading set of chambers in Grays Inn, this conference provides a unique opportunity to hear the latest developments in employment law and updates on recent tribunals and landmark cases.  

Simon and Fergus will explain what all this means for your school and provide you with straightforward and practical guidance.  They will provide an overview of the various acts and laws that protect employees’ health and wellbeing i.e., stress at work, protection from bullying and harassment and responsibilities in respect of disabled employees.  This topic will link to the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF) which under the leadership and management section sets out that leaders need to evidence that they are putting staff wellbeing at the heart of their school.
