Act Global, Think Local: Tree Twinning

Did you know the ring-necked parakeet, now a notoriously noisy resident of London, is originally from the foothills of the Himalayas? To further our environmental connection to Nepal, Hammersmith & Fulham Council is seeking schools to take part in a tree twinning initiative that encourages students to ‘Act Local, Think Global’ by planting trees in their local area and supporting students in Nepal to do the same. The initiative looks to build on early success in the London Borough of Barnet.
