Yesterday, the DfE sent an email to headteachers asking them to submit information regarding their school’s gas and electricity tariffs for a survey.
With concerns that rapidly rising energy bills could lead to job cuts, the DfE is considering what “additional support” it can provide.
The survey asks for basic data on schools’ current tariffs, whether they’re looking to switch to a new tariff, and your current supplier. The survey closes on 2 June.
