LBHF would like to achieve improved levels of child vaccinations with the help of our nurseries.
The CC4C team would like to work with one nursery (or more) to develop a Seminar/Webinar with a paediatrician and GP, to address parent concerns around vaccines. Based on previous experience this method has provided significant value. The main benefit is that the intervention remains within the community, encouraging GP/Families/Community connections and trust to be built.
If you would like to support this project we would very much like to hear from you. The time commitment would be limited as we understand you are busy and we will work around your routines. To express an interest please contact Janina: janina.perera@lbhf.gov.uk or Andrea andrea.lawlorford@lbhf.gov.uk in the Early Years Service
UKHSA are now sending all settings an education pack. This will enable you to be more prepared if you have a case(s) of measles at your setting
The government has set up a wraparound childcare programme to ensure all parents and carers of primary school-aged children who need it can access term-time childcare in their local area from 8am-6pm. Delivery plan and further information in article,
