Exclusive online learning event for London secondary schools for Holocaust Memorial Day

Thursday 27 January, 10:00-11:15

Dear all,

The Mayor of London would like to invite your school to The Anne Frank Trust UK’s online interactive learning event marking Holocaust Memorial Day 2022 with Holocaust Survivor Eva Clarke BEM.

Born on April 29th, 1945, on a cart in the open without any assistance, Eva Clarke was one of only three babies born in Mauthausen concentration camp who survived the Holocaust. If the camp's gas chambers hadn’t been blown up the previous day and the Americans hadn’t liberated Mauthausen just days after Eva’s birth, neither mother nor child would have survived.  Please click hereHolocaust Survivor for further information regarding Eva.

How to take part

This live and free event, exclusively for London secondary schools, will take place on Thursday 27 January, between 10:00 and 11:15.

It will be hosted on The Anne Frank Trust UK’s YouTube page. You can register for your school’s ticket on Eventbrite.

Please note that you must register using a school email address. A link to the YouTube page will be shared with all registered the day before the event.

I really hope that some of you will be able to join this event.
