Please see below communication from the H&F Safeguarding term.

---

Dear Colleagues,

It has been brought to our attention that unfortunately, local schools and early years settings in H&F and RBKC have received malicious emails/letters/calls in recent days.

We appreciate that this can be quite upsetting for everyone involved, so should you receive one of these emails/letters/calls, please contact the police.  If it is an immediate threat please call 999, if it is not an immediate threat then please call 101 or log it online with the police.

In addition please alert by email the Safeguarding in Education Manager, Megan Cameron -Brown on Megan.Cameron-Brown@lbhf.gov.uk; and the Head of SEND services and Early years, Satwinder Saraon - Satwinder.Saraon@lbhf.gov.uk;

It would also be useful to copy into the email Beth Morgan, Community Service Manager on Beth.Morgan@lbhf.gov.uk; in H&F,  Lorna Platt, Community Safety Manager on Lorna.Platt@rbkc.gov.uk; in RBKC and Mark Chalmers, Head of Community Safety on mchalmers@westminster.gov.uk; in Westminster City Council.

Please do not share any of these malicious emails/letters with families or other schools/settings/colleagues, as it is important to ensure that families do not worry unnecessarily.

The police are currently aware of this and are investigating these emails/letters/calls.

Should your families ask you any additional questions regarding this, you can mention to them that the police are investigating this matter.

Kind Regards

Megan Cameron-Brown (she, her, hers)
