Childminder Mentor Programme

The deadline for childminders has been extended until 31 March 2024. Childminders can learn more and sign up by visiting Childminder mentor programme on the Coram Hempsalls website and see flyer Childminder Mentor Programme: CMP flyer (003)

Below are some quotes from childminders who have received support from the programme:

“The support was incredible my skills were polished to new levels I never knew I could achieve . My tutor was amazing I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, she really did improve my skills and I had a great learning time.”

“This has been a great boost to my confidence. Just being able to talk to someone so much more experienced than myself has made a big difference.”

“The mentor program is a total game changer. Working alone as a childminder, this program was a great help, I really appreciate the efforts of the mentor with her support in making me understand and learn about the various ways and techniques that could help me with my professional growth.  It was a healthy and informative discussion, and I fully endorse these online programs.”

“It has been really positive. Everything has been positive and it’s been nice to meet and talk through with another childminder.  In Cumbria there isn’t many childminders so we don’t have much opportunity to meet up with others.”
