As you know, we have taken additional steps to ensure that parents who are already in receipt of Tax-Free Childcare (TFC), and whose reconfirmation window opens on or after 15 February 2024 (and before 1 April 2024), are still able to receive a valid code for the new two-year-old entitlement. HMRC have now sent all such parents a letter containing a manual code (which starts with 11) that can be used to claim free childcare in April.
We are aware of some confusion around the Eligibility Period of these manual codes. Please be assured that all of these codes are valid for April and do not expire before then.
