EY: Ofsted’s Big Conversation

Ofsted Chief Executive Amanda Spielman has addressed the Education sector in her ‘Ofsted Big Conversation’ article, as she reflects on the last year.

This includes:

• the impact the pandemic has had on children who have missed early years education, and the work done to help children catch up
• the early years curriculum, and the different ways adults can help children learn
• getting the best start in life, especially through language and communication
• apprenticeships and how they should be used, and the drop in the number of people starting apprenticeships
