Dear early years childcare providers

We are writing to request your support with the delivery of the Wraparound Childcare Programme and our assessment of childcare sufficiency in Hammersmith and Fulham generally.

DfE have now asked us for additional information to support planning and we therefore need to update our records regarding wraparound childcare in the borough so we can understand supply.

We also need to conduct a parent survey to understand more about demand and likely future demand.

Could you please therefore:

Complete this survey about wraparound childcare by 25 March at the latest. The sooner you can complete it the better thank you. Some of this is information we have requested before, but we need to confirm and update it. There are also some additional questions we now need to ask. Thank you very much in advance for your support with this.

Circulate this survey to all parents at your school with the cover message below:

The Childcare Team at Hammersmith and Fulham have asked us to circulate this form about childcare in the borough for under 5s and for school age children (before and after school and holiday childcare). The survey should only take 5 minutes to complete and will help inform planning around the expansion of wraparound childcare in the borough. Thank you for taking time to do this.  The survey can be found here and is completely anonymous.

With kind regards

Satwinder
