H&F Music Hub: GLA Cultural Impact Award – Sounds Like Hammersmith & Fulham; Summer Term

It is our ambition that every 14-19 year old who lives or goes to school in LBHF has the opportunity to take part in the London Borough of Culture’s, Cultural Impact award 2022; Sounds Like Hammersmith & Fulham.

 Please sign up for the following opportunities so that your students can be involved.

Last chance to book your free Music workshops in schools – Book by Thursday 31^st March

• Book your free 1.5 hour music workshop to be delivered in your setting in the summer term, led by industry specialists, in either Music Production & Technology, Hip-hop & Rap & Song-writing for up to 30 students from school years 9-13 (or mixed year group)

Free Teaching & Learning resources for 14-19 settings

Our new teaching & learning resources for teaching Music Production & Technology, Hip-hop & Rap & Songwriting at Key stages 3-5 and an additional resource for approaches to teaching the syllabus to students with Special educational needs and disabilities have now been published and are available digitally (e-books) here under educational settings/resources section: https://www.triboroughmusichub.org/school-services/sounds-like-hammersmith-fulham/

Hard copies of the books will be sent to all LBHF 14-19 settings this week. Please look out for your new books, which we hope your music departments will find useful. There are clear links to the national curriculum and exam criterion throughout each session plan.

• 10 week course starting at the Lyric theatre on Wednesday 27^th April 5-6pm. There are limited free places for 14-18 year olds who live or go to school within LBHF.
