Lessons from Auschwitz – Online Projects

Quick Navigation

Feb 4 2022

Applications are currently open for the Lessons from Auschwitz Online Projects taking place this Spring.

During the three remote Live Sessions for Lessons from Auschwitz Online, students were taught by experts in Holocaust education about pre-war Jewish life and the importance of humanising the Holocaust.

The students also got to engage with the site of Auschwitz-Birkenau using virtual reality technology.  The most memorable experience from the Live Sessions was hearing Manfred Goldberg BEM, a Holocaust survivor, share his testimony via Zoom.

Hearing individual stories and experiences is the best way to keep the memory of both the victims and survivors alive, which we all have a responsibility towards.
