Minecraft Challenge (Schools Reinventing London)

Quick Navigation

Jan 20 2023

Minecraft Education and C40 are teaming up with the Mayor of London to empower student voices through the project Schools Reinventing Cities.

This programme presents a unique opportunity for educators to inspire students from primary, secondary and Sixth Form settings to use their creativity and voice to design sustainable solutions to combat climate issues that threaten the future of their city.

The aim is to inspire young Londoners to learn more about the built environment industry, highlight the types of careers that are available to them and to get them thinking about making the city that they go to school in more sustainable for their futures.

This year, the Mayor of London is challenging ALL students of London to be creative, have fun and design their Minecraft Education solution to this question: “How can we reimagine London town centre to make it a greener, safer and/or a more prosperous place for everyone?”
