We welcome Georgina Herry – New Lead Adviser Primary Education January 2022

Georgina joins us from Hounslow Local Authority where she was responsible for providing strategic school improvement  support  and delivering  training programmes  to a range of primary, secondary and special schools. She also led the sensory SEN service providing support, advice and guidance  for children with sensory needs and physical disabilities.  

Georgina is passionate about school improvement. Within her various leadership roles, Georgina has worked with staff teams, successfully leading change and transforming education provision. Her significant contribution has been recognised by Ofsted inspections who have validated the improvement and impact. She has worked on local and national projects leading whole school reviews as well as designing and delivering school improvement training and support to schools across London and the South East.

  • Special educational needs, inclusion and safeguarding
  • Leading whole school reviews, including SEND reviews
  • Developing robust self evaluation systems
  • Curriculum development
  • Coaching for middle leaders, SENDCos, Governors, senior leaders, teachers and support staff
  • Preparation for inspection
  • Expertise in EYFS, phonics, distributive leadership, behaviour and attendance strategies and deployment  of pupil premium expenditure 
  • Effectively engaging parents, including successful strategies for hard to reach group

We are delighted to welcome Georgina Herry to Hammersmith and Fulham. Georgina joins the school improvement team as our Lead Adviser Primary Education. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge as a school leader and adviser. We look forward to Georgina starting with us on 10 January 2022
