Aladdin at the Lyric

Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas

Christmas isn’t Christmas at the Lyric without its family favourite, Raymond Brigg’s Father Christmas.

Kids aged under six can watch Santa prepare for what he does best: deliver Christmas presents. Tickets start at £10.

Fulham Palace Christmas Fair weekend

27 and 28 November, 10am-4pm

The Fulham Palace Christmas Fair is back and bigger than ever.

The Christmas market inside and outside the decorated Palace includes over 60 stalls of fine foods, handcrafted Christmas wreaths and other festive gifts.

Carols will be sung in the Tudor courtyard with support from All Saints Fulham junior and adult choirs, the London Youth Conservatoire, Larmenier & Sacred Heart Primary School and the Fulham & Hammersmith Choral Society.

Mayor’s Virtual Tea Dance 2021

1 December, 1pm to 3pm

Tune in and be a part of the first ever Mayor's Virtual Tea Dance on 1 December, brought to you by the H&F Events Team and DJ Mr Wonderful.

It’s a free online event that will take place via Zoom.

Carols by Candlelight at Bush Hall

5 December, 6pm

Ring in the holiday season with the entire family (and Santa!) at the Bush Hall’s Music House for Children on 5 December.

You can look forward to a musical evening with Christmas carols, performances and readings by children and artists – and mince pies galore.

Doors open at 5.30pm. Tickets £9, children £8, two adults and two children £30.

Christmas in the West End walk

6 December, 11am

Tag along for a merry two-hour stroll around the West End to discover Piccadilly’s Christmas displays, St James's Palace as well as the ‘finest private house’ in London by Green Park.

Meeting point is by the red letterbox outside Charing Cross Station.

Tickets £10. All proceeds from this St Nicholaus Day walk will be donated to The Connection at St. Martin's, a charity supporting Londoners who are homeless or rough sleeping to recover and find housing and work.

Maggie’s Carols by Candlelight

6 December, 6.45pm to 9pm

On 6 December, Maggie's will be hosting their annual Christmas carol service in aid of their cancer support charity at Fulham’s All Saints Church.

Look forward to your favourite Christmas classics and modern interpretations from The London Chorus and the Fulham Belles Choir (not to mention minced pies and mulled wine).

Tickets £15, concessions £12, children aged 5-16 £5, kids under 6 go free.

Distinguished Christmas Lecture at Hammersmith & White City Campus

9 December, 5.30pm

On 9 December, Professor Lucy Chappell will be presenting her distinguished Christmas lecture on 'Future directions for the research landscape'.

A canapé and drinks reception will be held in the Wolfson cafe area at Imperial College after the lecture to celebrate the festive season.

Free entry, but registration to attend the lecture in person or online via Microsoft Teams required.

MEDIUM at Riverside Studios

9 – 11 December, 7.30pm

Two-time Tony nominee Samuel Barnett is bringing his illusion-packed one-man show MEDIUM to Riverside Studios between 9 and 11 December.

Join him on a magical journey through his family tree including a long line of mentalists, conjurers, illusionists and magicians – audience participation not mandatory!

Santa's Grotto at St John’s

10 December, 10am to 4pm

Bring your little one to meet & greet Santa at St. John's Walham Green CE Primary School on 10 December.

This is a fundraising initiative by St John's PTFA. Tickets £10, timeslots need to be booked in advance.

No Behaviour Podcast Christmas Special live at O2 Empire Shepherds Bush

The peoples podcast, ‘No Behaviour’, is coming to you live and direct with its very first Christmas special.

Christmas concert at St Peter’s Church

11 December, 7.30pm

West London’s leading amateur chamber choir, the Petros Singers, will give their Christmas concert at St Peter’s Church in Fulham on 11 December.

Look forward to Christmas classics such as Bob Chilcott’s ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ as well as to the world premiere of the “Glad Christmas Comes” carol suite – a Petros Singers original.

Santa’s Grotto at the Parsons Green Sports and Social Club

On 12 December, the Parsons Green Sports and Social Club will be transformed into Santas Grotto.

Children of all ages can look forward to two hours packed with festive activities including gingerbread house decorating, festive afternoon tea and, of course, a visit from Santa himself.

Children’s tickets £30.77, accompanying adults go free.

Active Minds at the Sands End Arts and Community Centre

On Thursday 16 December, the Sands End Arts and Community Centre will be hosting drop-in taster sessions for their fully inclusive and dementia-friendly wellbeing programme, which is set to launch in January 2022. Drop by for mince pies, mulled wine and a whole range of festive activities, including Christmas carols with singing health specialists, accessible dancing with in-house dance studio WestDance and creative arts and crafts activities.

Grace Petrie returns to Bush Hall on 18 December with another instalment of her comedy and music packed Christmas show.

Hammersmith Safer Cycle Pathway Festive Celebration Family Ride

18 December, 11am to 12.30pm

Join W6 Safe Cycling Families to welcome the new bike lane between Lyric Square to Kew Bridge and back.

This ride is supported by Hammersmith & Fulham Cycling and Hounslow Cycling, which are part of the London Cycling Campaign.

Meet at 10.45am at Lyric Square – easy pace, suitable for children.

Holiday Christmas Club at DanceWest studio

19, 20 and 21 December, 9.30am to 12.30pm

This December, introduce your little ones to the world of hip-hop, street dance, ballet and musical theatre at the Sands End Arts and Community Centre! The in-house DanceWest studio will be hosting three festive (and free!) dance workshops for kids aged 4-11.

Free entry, hot lunch provided (child must be in receipt of free school meals).

Great Expectations at Riverside Studios

20 – 23 December, 8pm

Join actor and comedian Eddie Izzard at Riverside Studios for her live solo performance of Charles Dickens’ classic Great Expectations.

Yoo Hoo Musical Storytelling Workshop at Bush Hall

21 December, 11am

Come down to the Music House for Children and meet Yoo Hoo, the adorable little hedgehog, for some festive dancing, singing, instrumental play and lots of fun.

Twas the Night Before Christmas at Shepherds Bush Library

21 December, 3pm to 4pm

Join Cat and Hutch at Shepherds Bush Library for a magical, interactive storytelling session inspired by the classic Christmas poem A Visit from St Nicholas by Clement Clarke Moore.

Free entry - limited to 20 children.

360 ALLSTARS at Riverside Studios

21 December 2021 to 8 January 2022, 7pm

This season, the international world champion athletes and artists of 360 ALLSTARS are reinventing the circus at Riverside Studios.

From BMX, acrobatics and breakdancing to beatboxing and drumming – the family-friendly production is bound to be like “nothing you've seen before”.

Tickets start at £12.25.
