EY: Department for Education Early Education and Childcare Provider Regional Roadshows

Roadshows are happening across different regions in England. These events are for group-based settings leaders and managers and a great opportunity to:

  • Engage with DfE to share your ideas, successes, concerns, and challenges. Your voice can help shape governments for early education and childcare policy.
  • hear updates about the Best Start in Life programme and the activity underway to meet the expanded childcare entitlements from September 2025.
  • network with other early years leaders, Local Authorities and organisations which support the sector.

These are the upcoming 2025 Roadshow dates and venues:

  • 21 May
    East of England – Norwich City Football Club
  • 3 June
    South-west – DoubleTree by Hilton, Bristol City Centre
  • 26 June (This roadshow has been re-scheduled, and it is happening on 26 June)
    North-east – Copthorne Hotel, Newcastle
  • 8 July
    North-west – The Midland, Manchester
