DfE have been made aware of an issue where around 1,000 duplicate temporary codes have been issued to a small cohort of parents who fit both parameters for the Tax Free Childcare reconfirmation issue and new maternity leave policy.
Where a parent is affected, DfE are advising parents to use the code with the later expiry date (which will be in their most recently issued letter) though both codes will work.
