Building on the success of the Healthy Schools London , the Mayor of London introduces the Healthy Early Years London (HEYL) programme. This initiative is part of the city’s Oral Health Programme in line with Ofsted guidelines.
Healthy Early Years London aims to tackle health inequalities by supporting a healthy start in life with a focus on healthy eating, oral and physical health, and early cognitive development. The programme complements and enhances the statutory Early years foundation stage framework, with extra emphasis on children, families and staff health and wellbeing.
