Quick Navigation

Feb 10 2022

As you know our director of education Jan Parnell is retiring in June 2022. After an extensive recruitment and selection process I am delighted to inform you that Peter Haylock has been appointed as Jan’s successor and will start at the beginning of June so there is a short overlap with Jan.

Peter is currently Executive Principal for three Ark schools. He has a long association with LBHF having worked at several schools in the borough and is very pleased to be joining the LA. He writes:

“ I am really excited about starting a new phase of my career and the fantastic opportunity to work hard so that we can provide the best possible life chances for the young people of the Borough.”

My thanks to all colleagues across CHS and beyond who were involved in the recruitment of Peter especially Jan Parnell who has invested significant time and energy in this process

We have started an induction process with Peter so that the handover is as smooth as possible.
